Investment Strategy
The Heritage All Cap Growth equity strategy employs a research-driven process designed to identify fundamentally sound growth companies at an opportunistic time. The team has determined that winning stocks share the following specific characteristics: (1) robust and sustainable growth in revenue and earnings, (2) positive revision patterns in revenue and earnings and (3) fundamental strength confirmed by market sentiment factors. The team focuses on these characteristics when buying stocks, however, believes its sell discipline is also a very critical part of its process.  It is a key risk control and has been shown to add value by providing downside protection to the portfolio. The team believes investors are generally slow to respond to relevant, incremental data points. This slow response is what creates opportunistic selling situations when relevant, negative data points surface.
