Investment Strategy
The MWCM Small Cap Intrinsic Value strategy is managed by Metropolitan West Capital Management, LLC. The investment team’s approach is driven by fundamental research and concentrates on selecting unique individual investments utilizing a low-risk, value-oriented methodology and long-term focus that takes advantage of opportunities presented by short-term anomalies in high-quality businesses. They determine why an undervalued security is accorded a discount by other investors and what will change to eliminate that discount over the investment horizon (typically three to five years).
